The Australian Labradoodle made our dream come true – from an allergy family to a dog breeder

Taking a dog was not easy for the Eriksson’s. Stefan and Paula went to see many dog breeds, but in the end the result was always the same. Less than 15 minutes with the dog in the same room and the allergy symptoms began. They were already giving up hope of having their own dog until they decided to get to know one more dog breed – the Australian Labradoodle.

– It did not cause any symptoms even after petting the dog for a longer time, which was really a miracle, Paula says.

After a successful dog visit, Madde was born in 2004 and became Eriksson’s first dog. Since then, the family has grown regularly with captivating furry friends, most of which have settled into new families.

Enjoyable walks, even with 7 dogs!
Four generations in the same picture from left to right: Madde, Capri, Ginny and the M-litter. Madde lived to be 14.5 years old and left us in October 2018.

Since 2009 we have been able to breed this wonderful breed and many families have taken home a happy and loving Australian Labradoodle. Our dogs are like family members to us and therefore we choose the future owners of the puppies carefully. We want to follow the growth of the puppies and we hope for a continuous relationship with the future owners of our dogs.

The Breeders – a registered Australian Labradoodle Breeder

Sessan’s ald is Finland’s first registered breeder of the Australian Labradoodle. It is part of the Finnish Australian Labradoodle Association, which registers its puppies with the WALA and ALAEU breed organisations. Dog breeders are committed to following the ethical guidelines of the breed umbrella organisation.

– The founders of the Australian Labradoodle have developed a wonderful, healthy and allergy friendly breed. Maintaining these qualities is important to us, as it has allowed us to keep dogs in our home as well.
